Excel Tip of the Week: Keyboard Shortcuts, Part II

Today’s topic is keyboard shortcuts, Part Deux.

Here are some more keyboard shortcuts that are fun to use:

Action PC Shortcut Mac Shortcut
Auto-Sum Alt + = Cmd+Shift+T
Move to Next Sheet Ctrl+ PgDown Ctrl+ PgDown
Move to Previous Sheet Ctrl+ PgUp Ctrl+ PgUp
Edit Active Cell F2 Ctrl+ U

There are lots of websites out there with exhaustive lists of shortcuts. My hope is that I’m passing along to you the ones that are most useful in small enough doses that you can remember them. Be sure to practice these and before long they will become second nature.

About Doug Midkiff

I’m really good at Excel. I’m also a Texan, which seems to be a trend among OwenBloggers these days (you can’t stop us, you can only hope to contain us). After graduating from Texas, (Hook’em) I spent four years as a financial analyst before finding my way to Owen where I’m concentrating in finance with an emphasis on real estate. I love my wife, indie coffee shops, disc golf, soccer, web comics, Google maps, urbanism, sustainability, and warm weather.
